How can I see, if I have been born blind?
Or only see my biased slant upon the world?
The landscape where I live will be confined
To dark shapes of the night, so ill defined
Where moonlight, will my vague conceptions hold.
The landscape, and my being will not change
But when the sun is up, those shapes appear
Glinting, distinct, and are no longer strange
The whole wide world has come within my range
What once was dark, now to my eyes is clear.
And such it is, to us now born again
I am the same, but found a life that's new
I have not changed, but see a new terrain
For Precious Blood, has shown a newer reign
The King of all, the Faithful and the True.
His body is the same, but glorified
The nail marks still are there, but Majesty
is His, and He Himself will greet His Bride
Those born in Him, the Living Stones abide
in that redeeming Love, eternally.
