One Single Life

He once was a baby
Just starting to walk
He cried and he crawled
And He learned how to talk

The time passed by quickly
From hours to days
This child's growing older
As he learns to pray

A teen full of query
He learns about life
Sickness and hunger
A world full of strife

Men that can't walk
Deaf, dumb and blind
Adultery and hatred
With healing, God's sign

Father, he watches
His only son grow
into a Savior
In the world, below

Pharisees, Sadducees
Living in deep sin
Don't know what's coming
No Holy Spirit within

Over the years
So many have cried
Because on the cross
This young man has died

He once was a baby
Grew into a man
Gave his life for us
Sits at God's right hand
