A Christian Came into Our City

by brian

A Christian came into our city
But it was really quite a pity
For he did not God's plan reveal
The tragic truth he did conceal
you see, he did not count the cost
For living his life as though he were lost
So we inside our city burned
While he and his family from fire turned
But his wife looked back to see
God gave them a "salty" reminder to flee

A Christian came into our city
But it was good and not a pity
At first he did not wish to come
Until God "O-Fish-ally" convinced him some
He said, "God will destroy this city, you see!"
But we repented on our knee
When God saw we turned from sin and shame
He saved our city! Glory to His Name!

You are the Christian in your city
