Gear Up!

Now more than ever,
we need to prepare . . .
the shield of our faith
we must always wear.

We must always keep on,
the helmet of salvation
hold onto to the sword
without any hesitation.

We need to be buckled,
with the truth around us
so that in God . . .
we’ll always put our trust.

We need the breastplate,
of righteous in place
for it’s the only way
we will finish the race.

We mush put on,
the full armor given
so to the devil’s ploys
we won’t ever give in.

Now more than ever,
we must put on our battle gear
lest in these last days . . .
we’ll be overcome by fear!

Ephesians 6:11
