Tribulation

by Anthony Paul Curtis © 2007

In these times of Tribulation
Nation arguing with nation
Terrorism, spiritual pain
Oily tankers, acid rain.

World pollution, melting poles
Politicians playing subversive roles
Money and greed our driving force,
No wonder we're on collision course.

Are we reaching the end of our tether?
There seems to be no hope for us
But stop!
Despite the dark and ominous weather
Think not in minus but in plus...

There's a light in the world that will not deceive
It's there inside you if you really believe
And the light belongs to Jesus and is holy and bright
And He will save us from endless night.
