am I still singing Amazing Grace
is my heart rejoicing in Jesus
as I run this pilgrim race?
The day after Sunday
am I still trusting in the Lord
and taking time to meditate
on His precious holy word?
The day after Sunday
am I still going to God in prayer
do I lift up all my loved ones
and on Him cast all my care?
The day after Sunday
am I still holding to my Shepherd's hand
seeking to follow His perfect will
obey Him and not man?
The day after Sunday
am I still resting in my Savior's love
thanking Him for Mount Calvary
where for me, He shed His blood.
The day after Sunday
am I still looking for His return
am I sure my sins are forgiven
does my heart for heaven yearn?
