Precious Memories Of Mother

by Margaret Cagle

I think about my dear mother
Each and every single day.
Though she is now in Heaven,
She is in my heart to stay.

She was a very Godly mother
Who trained her children well.
She loved her children dearly,
More than words can ever tell.

Mother prayed for her children,
And she lived a Christian life.
She was a very Godly example
Of a wonderful mother and wife.

I will never forget that day
I heard my mother was gone.
She is no longer here with us,
But those memories linger on.

I can almost hear her voice
In her way so meek and mild,
Saying, "Now don't you forget
That I love you so much, Child."

Someday I'll see my mother
When my journey here is o'er.
I know I will meet her again
When I reach that Golden Shore.
