The brink of eternity,
Standing at the edge.
Wondering how you got here
Slipping close to the ledge.
The dark so overwhelming.
Longing for a taste of light;
To free from the burden
You've carried to the night.
The chains you hold onto,
Holding back so much more;
What you are meant to be
What God still has in store.
Do you take the step?
Spread your wings in flight.
Do you have the faith,
To free the way tonight?
