To The God Who Is There

Rock of Ages
Thou, my Gibraltar,
be the foundation
of my personal altar.

Living Water,
may you always be the first
source to which I turn
to slake my soul's thirst.

Bread of Life
upon which I feed,
when I hunger
You always meet the need.

Light of the World,
may I be your reflection
to bring those in darkness
bright beam of direction.

God of all comfort,
be the healing balm,
and in Your perfect time,
restore the calm.

Glory and
Lifter Up of my head,
You give me power
on serpents to tread.

Savior returning,
Soon and coming King ,
I can't wait til in glory
Your praises I sing.
