His Name Is Jesus Christ

by Edarly Edouard © 2018

There was once a baby
Who turned out as a Savior,
His love was there for all
Who saw that little manger.

He grew with love and wisdom
And never had He sinned,
He shows respect and mercy
And He’s gentle like the wind.

He makes the broken walk
And too, the lepers cleansed,
Oh how much love He had
When Lazarus rose from the dead.

He made the blind man see
The wonders of the light,
Oh how much love He had
When the dead came back to life.

When He saw the little children,
His heart was filled with joy.
Oh how on earth His hands extend
To all the girls and boys.

The Ruler of all nations,
The Everlasting Father,
His love extends to all of
His beloved sons and daughters.

He was nailed to the cross,
His mission was accomplished.
Oh how much love He had
When He cried out, “It is finished.”

Though many were against Him,
His love gave others light,
He gave them reassurance,
And healed them of their strife.

Unblemished is His love,
Infinite is His mercy,
Oh how much love He had
When He entered to His glory.

Oh how much love He had
When He rose up from the dead,
He ascended into heaven
And will soon return again.

He kept His promises,
His words were all too true,
How much love He had
When He told me, “I love you”

There is no other love
And no other sacrifice,
There’s only one true Savior,
And His name is Jesus Christ.
