The First Ventriloquist

Satan was the first ventriloquist, and make no mistake.
The dummy that he chose was a garden of Eden snake.
God's Holy Word He did question,
and to Eve he made sinful suggestion.

His tactics haven't changed. He's much the same way.
He uses different dummies each and every day.
There are politicians, public speakers, and all kinds of teachers.
Some of the puppets he uses are even so called preachers.

Upon discrediting God's Holy Word they do embark.
This they have in common, their identifying trademark.
They have one ventriloquist with different faces and styles.
The wise in heart will not be duped by his wiles.
