An Ambassador's Prayer

Lord, please tune my ears so that I may hear
words spoken by you that I count so dear.
Then open my eyes so that they may see
opportunities for You to work through me.

Walk close to me throughout this coming week
and may my lips of Your love clearly speak.
Please equip my hands to stretch out and do
some small work of love and kindness for You.

Dear Lord, May these arms of mine by Your grace
reach out and some struggling soul embrace.
Then upon my legs place such willing feet
that I may walk alongside those I meet.

Blessed Holy Spirit make me I pray
an ambassador for my Lord this day.
So that others may look at me and see
the beauty of Jesus shining through me.
