Proof Of Faith

The proof of faith is tried
In the laws we live by,
Light versus the dark side.
Past demons come alive,
Flickering faith abides,
Works of faith will decide
Love is best when it's tried.

Deep within the dark side
The old demons they cry,
Afraid of light they hide;
Blinded in selfish pride
Trying to override
Faith's stand against their pride.

Sin's old demons denied,
Man's faith is fortified;
The weak made strong survived,
Safe in the "Crucified"
And God was glorified.
On wings of faith man rides,
