Oh there's nothing so powerful
as the voice of God
nothing so tender
to stir and to prod
our hearts toward the place
He means it to be
to comfort, console
and set our lives free.

If only we'll take
a moment away
if only we'll listen
what He has to say
our path might be changed
our hope be renewed
He begs us to listen
if only we knew.

Don't ignore the voice
that calls within
that deepest longing
to hear from Him.
