A scene was placed upon the wall
for all the people to behold.
A scene of birth. Of precious life.
More precious than pure gold.

But politics, that ugly beast
thought some might be offended.
And so the scene was ordered down.
It's time on wall was ended.

A man was placed upon the earth
for all the people to behold.
A man of peace, of precious life.
More precious than pure gold.

But politics, that ugly beast
Thought some might be offended.
And so the man was lifted up.
His time on earth was ended.

So politics Thought all was well
When the precious life departed.
The ugly beast was unaware
That life had only started.
