The devil

by Jeremy Smith © 2017

Hello, you may all call me Lucifer.
I dearly, want to be the best of friends.
And I, wish that none will ever suffer.
For I'll, defend all my friends till time ends.

I, have remedies for the sick and sad.
I'll, be listening when no one else is.
You, can look to me when your feeling mad.
And, when it comes to revenge I'm a whiz.

All kidding aside, I just want your soul.
I'll, make false promises, to earn your trust.
So, I can feast upon your sad heart whole.
If there's any fuss, I'll make you combust.

For I, am as evil as they come.
With, my artillery of trickery.
That I, will use on the weak to succumb.
To, an eternity of misery.

Heed this warning, for you can not turn back.
If, you don't trust in God your soul is mine.
Then, my army of darkness will attack.
Once caught, your soul, I'll forever confine.
