Wasted Hours and Restless Days

by Graeme Tunbridge © 2016

Of wasted hours and restless days
Distraction king in all its ways

That I should fill my bag with rocks
When with it I could golden blocks

Yet with my intellect deny
With all my heart and strength I try

To bind myself to things below
When to the fount of blood should go.
