Questions

by Kathleen Higham

My questions are endless
The answers are so few
Is it arrogance or fear
That I thought I knew?

Knew of this Salvation
Trusted in eternal life
Then why all the questions
About pain, sorrow, strife?

My questions are endless
But I was just a speck
Until God came to me
When my life was a wreck.

A heart that was empty
So I surrendered my soul
My body completely broken
Now healed, became whole.

Yet, my questions are endless
But the answers are few
Have I forgotten so quickly
What I thought I knew?

There is no need for questions
Just know that this is true
Christ died on the Cross
He died for me and you.
