It is Finished!

Thinking that we might see
That a certain goodness is in us
This was simply not to be.
Forgiveness is a miracle of Grace
But enormous was the cost
Atonement comes from Jesus Christ
We are sanctified by the Cross.
Forget not a tremendous tragedy
Or the price that Jesus paid
When our vices come to entice
The memory begins to fade.
Don't turn back, I beg you!
As we are held in a vice
Constrained by His unfailing love
Remember His agonizing sacrifice.
So give up every single vice
Then in His grip you'll be
Like a vise He holds you tight
For only God can set you free.
"It is Finished," He cried!
The greatest verse you'll ever find
The final words of Jesus Christ
Brought redemption to all mankind.
Ephesians 1:7
"In Him we have the forgiveness of sins."
