"The Lord's my Shepherd", catchy line,
It could take off, and given time,
Help folk get rid of needless fears.
Come with me to my boyhood years.
I was a shepherd lad, you see,
My home the hills round Bethany.
Though robbers struck and wolves caused fright
I watched my flock through day and night.
They never scattered, never strayed,
They trusted, followed as I made
Them paths to pasture, water, rest.
It seemed they knew that I knew best.
Those treasured memories I keep.
Now God's my Shepherd, I'm His sheep.
"The Lord's my Shepherd". Catchy line,
It really could take off in time.
