A Good Thing To Give Thanks

Give thanks unto the Lord.
The Bible says it's a good thing.
When we go to Him in prayer,
Our thanks to Him, let's bring.

We should not take it for granted,
The blessings that our God doth give
He wants us to be ever grateful,
For by Him, we breathe and live.

We thank God for our salvation,
For He sent Jesus, His only Son
To die for the sins of the world,
To be our Savior, the only One.

We thank God for food and shelter
And the benefits He gives each day,
For He promised to supply our needs.
Let us thank Him when we pray.

I praise God for His loving care!
He changes not; He's always the same.
May the name of Jesus be glorified!
I praise and exalt His holy name!
