God is Now Here

by Kathleen Higham

When to draw the line?
Something I now know
God is here with me
And with Him I will go.

This was not always so
He hovered by my side
I was absolutely nowhere
My foolish heart denied.

One day I drew the line
Struggling all these years
I felt Him come to me
The line blurred my tears.

Oh, the glory of it all
For He is "Now Here"
No longer hovering near-by
My vision became so clear.

A life once going nowhere
Until I drew that line
He claimed me completely
Saying, "Child you are mine."

I'm a citizen of Heaven
With great faith I will share
The moment I drew the line
Well, God was waiting there.

It may be a fine line, but
His presence is so Divine
Nowhere, then "Now Here"'
Now, it's time to draw the line.
