Press On

I don't know all the facts and details,
but the future with God I see.
I don't know all the paths and plans,
that the Lord has laid out for me.

I don't always understand the answer,
but I know God has His own reason.
So I reach for what's before me,
and leave the past in its right season.

I don't want to suffer the pain today,
but I trust God with my tomorrows.
So I carry on in my daily battles,
and give to Him my painful sorrows.

I don't have a great deal of strength,
but believe God will give to me His power.
So I move onward and upward,
and grow stronger with each passing hour.

I don't always run a good race,
but to God I am forever drawn.
So I walk and keep Him in my view,
and know I must press on . . .
