Looking

May I ask, what is it that you're looking for,
Until you find Jesus, you'll look even more.
Without Him, you're never totally satisfied,
Now I know it's true for I have already tried.

Satisfaction found in other means, won't last,
Soon the search is on again as it was in the past.
The comfort zone wasn't as it had appeared to be,
Causing problems that did not exist originally.

Sin can paint a pretty picture of pure delight,
Drawing a person in who knows it's not right.
Getting there is easy, getting out has never been,
For Satan has a powerful grip with all his sin.

For a secured life, there is one place to find it,
It is with Jesus, the only One Who can bind it.
With a love so secure that it will never depart,
Stop looking now, invite Jesus into your heart.
