Lord, Bless these United States,
bring about Your peace.
Let Your love shine bright,
long past this lit up night.

When the celebration's over,
and the sky once more turns dark.
I pray that in the morning light,
this country will be contrite.

Let us once again become,
a Nation that is under You,
Let this day of freedom's right,
bring back Your heart's delight.

This once great Godly Nation,
can change its course today.
So, I pray that You'll incite,
a return to You tonight.
