My Ebenezer Moments
Lie deep in heart and mind
Of God's loving acts of kindness
Delivered in His time

My Ebenezer Moment
When the battle loss was sure
The Lord He thundered loudly
And victory He secured

My Ebenezer Moment
When chastising me for sin
His still small voice of mercy
Then warmed my heart within

My Ebenezer Moment
The loss seemed just too much
His Spirit overwhelmed me
I knew His loving touch

My Ebenezer Moment
When the storm, there seemed no end
He reminded me in His Word
He's the God of providence

My Ebenezer Moment
Confused at what God was doing
He showed me, in His time, it was
My blessing He was pursuing

My Ebenezer Moment
When Satan attacked my mind
The Lord, He brought healing
And freed me from Satan's lies

My (pivotal) Ebenezer Moment
Was when He opened my eyes
And showed me His Son Jesus
How for me He bled and died

These Ebenezer Moments
And much more besides
Have been my "stones of help"
Throughout my Christian life

My Ebenezer Moments
Is what God has done for me
Father use them, as I recall them,
To bind my heart to Thee.
