God Is With Us

Does God hear us
Speak an unkind word,
Lie to someone,
Or yell to be heard?

He heard us;
What we said today.
Let's be careful
In what we say.

Does God see us
Hurt a dear friend,
Steal from someone,
Or another offend?

He saw us
Do what we did.
Our sins from Him
Are never hid.

Does God know we
Were mad again,
Angry at others,
Have unconfessed sin?

God knows we
Sinned again today;
He's there to forgive,
And take sins away.

God is with us
Wherever we go.
What we say and do,
He'll always know.

Let us trust Him
And walk in His ways.
He'll direct our paths
And brighten our days.
