God or Mammon

Busy counting money
Will not make your life like honey
Do not continue on this journey
Being deceived by a phoney

Recognize the phoney
He is a shrewd liar
This path leads only
To indulge in the wrong desire

Beware of the cost
Of selling yourself short
You will end up totally lost
From what truly matters most

You cannot serve
Both God and mammon
You either love
Or hate the other one

Choose wisely
Do not be deceived
The price is costly
For your soul to be redeemed

Only the Lord Jesus
Can redeem your soul
By His most precious
Blood that He poured

No amount of money
Is able to save you
Do not be in a hurry
To dismiss Jesus' true value
