It's Christ's dying, not our doing,
We are never saved by works.
Only through the death of Jesus
We experience the New Birth.
Jesus left his home in heaven,
Came to earth to give his life,
And the blood he shed on Cal'vry
Did alone sin's price suffice.
Jesus died for every nation,
Men and women, boys and girls.
By his death sin's power was broken
Mercy and grace gave to the world.
It's a gift, we have to take it,
Before it can do us good.
Unaccepted, we're still sinners
Without the benefit of His Blood!
