Our Savior Jesus Christ is charity,
When the Spirit speaks His voice is gracious.
The devil treats us with disparity,
Known as Satan, he is not fallacious.
He sets about to steal, kill, and destroy,
He'll take away God's word from in your heart.
With our emotions Satan likes to toy,
He'll bring you fear of monsters in the dark.
Disguised, he'll look to be an angel light,
With words of wisdom false he'll bring you blight.
He's like the salesman cheating you to plight,
Removing your inheritance from sight.
Don't keep your eyes on Satan or his works,
For you become what most you do behold.
Converse and look on Jesus and don't shirk,
From silver plates speak apples of pure gold.
The world is judged for not knowing our Lord
Whom all our beating, sin, disease did bear.
We who are judged as righteous can't afford
To give place to the devil without care.
