The Church, His Bride.

The life of Jesus to the world is given
This greatest gift of God that we could see
For from His heart of love that gift is driven
On wheels of Grace, a glorious Living Tree
Perfection manifested now, was walking
His dusty path, and enemies were stalking
To snatch away this gift from you and me.

Onward His path and love His motivation
Both young and old received His healing hands
God's love was demonstrated to His Nation
A love that soon would spread to other lands
Though He must first endure the crucifixion
A life snuffed out, and soon His resurrection
Would break the icy hold of death's demands.

It is for one great love that marked His dying
The corn of wheat into the ground must go
And from the ground vast numbers multiplying
Upon the earth His death and rising show
A glorious entity, His bride, His likeness
To be with Him, and show her beauty, ageless
Only for Him, her bridal heart aglow!

And now, when earthly mire has marred her beauty
When other loves have pulled her heart away
Confused her thoughts with endless rounds of duty
And made the darkness seem as like the day
Amid this darkness there is slowly rising
The beauty of the bride this world surprising
A scene of love and light amid decay.

If she will keep herself in separation
For Him, and pledge with love her heart anew
Let nothing fill her heart with admiration
for other loves, as these would dim her view
Union with Him a truth of great authority
Linking us with God's supreme eternity
The marriage of the Lamb and all things new!

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
