The Word

What words can express the greatness of God's word
That breathes life to a weary, dry soul?
How precious God's thoughts toward us we have heard
As He spoke through the prophets of old.
Recorded through time are the words that we find
To bring healing to those brought low
Revealing the beauty of Christ so divine
As each word is a seed that is sown.
To this day, not one word has ceased to relate
To the struggles that often unfold.
So make time in each day to listen and wait
For God's Spirit to cause you to grow.
