I Love The Christ Of Christmas

Let's say, "Merry Christmas,"
Not "Happy Holidays," you see.
Christmas is not just for parties
And placing gifts under the tree.

"Happy Holidays" is for those
Who want to leave Christ out
Of the true meaning of Christmas.
Christ is what Christmas is all about.

Let's leave Christ in Christmas.
"Xmas" is not a reverent word.
Using an "X" in place of Christ
Is unacceptable and really absurd,

I love the Christ of Christmas,
For God sent Jesus to the earth.
God sent Him to die for our sins.
That's why I celebrate His birth.
