I Really Love Christmas

I really do love Christmas.
I love the Christmas story
When Jesus came to earth,
And angels sang to His glory.

I love the many colored lights
That glitter from place to place.
They show that Jesus is the Light.
He is full of mercy and grace.

I love when kinfolks near and far
Come together on Christmas Day.
We give our gifts and have a feast,
And we watch the children play.

I love pretty Christmas music,
Especially the carols so dear.
They cause my spirits to soar,
And fill me with Christmas cheer.

I'm thankful that Jesus came
From His heavenly home above.
He came to die for all our sins,
Because of His mercy and love.
