Men In Black jams it into our face,
Commercials bombard us with greed and lust,
Talk show guests bellow hot air in a gust,
Sitcoms are bold to push boundaries each week,
Our Children take note when personalities speak,
Star Trek urges us to boldly go,
As for Big Brother, our true poverty shows,
Our Horoscope daily to throw us off track,
All this and more sticks the knife in our backs.

Why do we sit watch and vegetate,
The Idiot box of worldliness and hate,
Turn your attention to the Word of Truth,
Receive God's Spirit and turn yours loose.
