Sing unto the Lord

by WritersQuill

Sing me a song of Jesus, sing me a song of my King.
Sing to me of His praises, let the church bells ring.
Heaven waits for God’s children; His blood did atone.
I’m setting aside my fleshly desires for Jesus in Him alone.
His Spirit comforts me in this life in His spiritual embrace,
Washing away my abhorred sins of every guilty trace.
To shake away this mortal shell and to run to my Lord.
Homeward, I march, the Master is calling me forward.
