In realms where doubt and fear once held their reign;
Where guilt's dark shroud obscured the light of day;
Where whispers of despair danced in the brain;
And hearts in quiet anguish bore the heavyweight.
The disruption of the embodied spirits is still.
Saving faith as a tender shoot has pierced the night.
It grew from seeds of trust in God's divine will,
And bloomed beneath beams of mercy's pure light.
Now, through Jesus Christ our Lord, through His tender hand,
The path of peace with God is ours to tread.
His blood as the crimson flow expands,
Where a demonic chasm of sin fled.
We are justified by faith! What a sweet reprieve
for the melody of souls that long were bound.
The chains that held us in their iron sleeve
Now, were shattered by the power that faith found.
The warrior's shield, the pilgrim's staff so strong;
It guides us through the tempest, through the storm,
And leads us to the place where we belong.
In solemn whispers, faith sings its victory reborn.
Where once the thorny crown of sin did reign,
Now blooms a crown of life, forever maintained
the nails that pierced the hands of Christ so fair,
Now holds the fabric of our hopes so clear.
In every heart that trusts in Jesus' name,
A fortress stands, no longer to be torn.
His love is the cornerstone, the same remains,
A bastion firm against the fiery darts of scorn.
With every pulse that beats with hope anew,
We find in Him our everlasting peace.
The storms may rage, the waves may rise in view;
But, in His grace, our sins have been released.
For faith has bridged the gap that sin had made,
And brought us to the Father's open arms.
In Jesus' name, our souls do now partake
Of love and grace that never shall depart.
Faith is the gift from God above bestowed,
Through this, we find salvation's open door.
In every heart bowed and broken-hearted,
He offers rest and healing forevermore.
We stand completely justified, no more to roam,
Our sins are forgotten in the depths of grace.
With every breath, we sing our solemn ode
To faith that brings us to our heavenly place.
Let peace, sweet peace, as rivers flow from God,
Through hearts made whole by faith's transforming might.
May we, in Christ, forever boldly trod,
Guided by faith's eternal, heavenly light.
For faith is the assurance of things hoped,
The evidence of realms we cannot see.
A firm foundation, never to be doped,
On which our souls are anchored, ever free.
And so we sing, with hearts that overflow,
A hymn of praise to God, who first did call.
By faith in Jesus, we in Him bestow
Our trust, our love, our all in all.
