Unashamed of All

by Raydene Nash

Can’t keep my legs together is a phrase
That denies my acceptance of His grace.
I’d rather feel the Spirit’s presence blaze
Then to be drunk with wine in any place.
Running at the mouth is just a put-down
Seeking to quell the presence of His grace.
Recounting all His blessings I don’t frown,
I know His Spirit shines upon my face.
Bats in the belfry may make me sound odd,
When coming from those ignorant of grace.
They will not block from me the love of God,
Though pacing forest floors while dressed in lace.
When one is not ashamed of Christ’s gospel,
Being unashamed of all is lawful.
