My Liberty In Christ

by Raydene Nash

A double-minded man is unstable.
We’re both beneath the covenant of grace,
Yet to understand me you aren’t able.
You’re only there to keep me in my place,
Decry my freedom, argument to give.
You seem stone-faced from studying the stones.
It’s in the presence of the Lord I live,
Upon my face His countenance alone.
The Lord is able to position us,
He’ll lift the humble, casting down the proud.
My liberty I’m willing to discuss,
The mind of Christ is not lost in a cloud.
With your self-righteousness I see you struggle.
As me God lavishes with grace, you ogle.
