The Time Has Come

My tears have not ceased
My fears have not eased
The burden in my heart
Very heavy and stark

I cried out to God
To lighten my burden
But all the more it
Becomes much more certain

The day quickly approaches
Where I'd need to surely face
The toughest of challenges
In the route of which I race

The question has arisen
Whether I'm willing to take
Ready to be forsaken
And to lose all for His sake

With the little faith I have
I commit my life to Him
Not to be left on the shelf
But bring all glory to Him
