I took care of you mom, I did the very best I could.
Deep down inside, I know I did good.
Through all of your surgeries I prayed and I cried.
I was always there right by your side.
My mother, my best friend it can never be denied.
I miss you so much every day I cried.
God did not bless me with children you see.
He blessed me with you and you were all that I need.
In life you were my baby it was plain to see.
I diapered and changed you just like you did me.
I fed you like a baby when you could not feed yourself.
I was so happy I could be of some help.
A wonderful mother you took care of me.
It was my time to be the best to you that I could be.
Taking care of you mom, it was meant to be.
You are with God now, you're at peace you are free.
