Follow The Son

When dark clouds o'er shadow
the good things you have done;
when pain and strife follow you,
just follow the Son.

When angry words spark
and contention you have won,
get on your knees, pray
and follow the Son.

When trials come your way
and peace doesn't come,
don't be weary of heart,
just follow the Son.

When death takes a loved one
and emptiness comes,
don't wade deep in sorrow,
but follow the Son.

When temptations o'er come you
and there's no place to run,
chase the devil away
and then follow the Son.
