In a little while, we'll hear His trumpet sound
Then we'll know, we're homeward bound
The parting curtain in eternal skies
Shall reveal great wonders to the wise

In a little while, we’ll fear no more
When our feet touch Heaven’s shore
Faithful loved ones from our past
Rejoicing together, embracing at last!

In a little while, his loving grace
Shall wipe tumbling tears from our face
All our struggles left behind
Contentment everlasting, there we will find

"In a little while" seems so long to wait
But time shall cease at Heaven's gate
His radiant light replaces the sun
Eternal peace and joy will have begun
