Our New Covenant Prayer

Our Lord, we come to you in Jesus' name,
Thankful for our covenant of marriage.
Your blessings fall upon us like the rain,
Holiness within lends us our carriage.
Do let our every thought and word and deed
Be filled with worship for Your saving grace.
Your Word our anxious thoughts will supersede,
And we need not with worldly views keep pace.
Do let us ever glory in Your cross,
Because of what Your Son accomplished there.
May charity our actions so emboss
That others know Your presence everywhere,
And let us not give in to thoughts of doubt
For faithfulness is what You are about.
