The night is far spent, and the day is at hand
The distance of morning, is pouring like sand
Whispers of day-break, are faint now to see
For these are prevailing like the winds from the sea.
Much is not seen by the eyes of the world
Light is obscured by the storm-clouds that swirled
Few are the people who see a sun's ray
Through dark, demon clouds near the start of the day.
The peep of the sun, climbs over the hill
With thought of an advent, forever to thrill
The Sun is arising, and shows from afar
His brow that is wearing the bright morning star.
The Spirit's preparing, and lamps are alight
Many are bidding farewell to the night
Purer and brighter the vision will be
Looking and waiting, His Face soon to see!
