Open Your Eyes and See

He stepped in time to adjudicate a crime,
Jesus, our Lord is He.
The verdict sure that we must all endure,
the Lamb He chose to be.

The Father's wrath, He did the math,
we couldn't endure before.
Our shield was He, His work set us free!
His life He gave, what more?

His great love, coming down from above,
conquered the enemies, ALL!
His blood our covering, causing His suffering,
bought us from that great fall!

Though flesh must die, we needn't cry.
He brings us safely home.
He set deep the anchor being forever our "banker",
that we no longer roam.

He shamed all the powers in heavenly towers
by Spirit in humble state.
He conquered the grave, He's the only true brave,
His work, it changed our fate!

With nails in hands, crown of thorns, no fans,
the Father turned His back.
He rose from death with life as His breath.
He had died for all, no lack.

Great praise goes to Him! He gave life and give limb!
No one could do it but He.
He's our righteous cover, and our infinite Lover.
Please open your eyes and See!
