My Heart is Fixed

My heart is fixed Lord,
in trusting You . . .
for all that, I am now
and will go through.

It is in You, I believe,
it is in You, I trust
be it on the hilltop
or in the desert dust.

My mind is fixed, Lord,
in believing You . . .
for all, I have now
and for all You'll do.

It is in You, I rely on,
it's to You, I give my life
be it clear sunny skies
or seas of ragging strife.

My soul is fixed, Lord,
in following You . . .
for in You, I'm grounded
Your Word, I'm rooted to.

It is in You, I'm secure,
it's on You, I depend . . .
be it green pastures
or mountains to descend!
