I am the wife of Proverbs thirty-one,
By grace I'm valued more than rubies fair.
My husband safe in trust is not undone,
I for my children, loved and prayed for, care.
Perceive the value in my acts, at length,
By hand creating macrame with rope.
In Jesus Christ I gird myself with strength,
His finished work upon the cross my hope.
My household clothed in scarlet, not defaced,
My clothes are made of silk and purple hues,
As riches undeserved, yet gifts of grace.
More to poor I've given than my due,
From the Lord's hand, provision in my life.
By Jesus' virtue I'm a blessed wife.
