Come Humbly

For those who do not know who Jesus is,
Equating Him with laws for righteousness-
For all those ignorant of words of His,
Thinking they can earn His free forgiveness-
In Jesus truth and grace dwell side by side.
Not need to try to straighten yourself out,
Approaching Him with stubbornness and pride.
Come, seek salvation by the humble route,
Admitting you are poor and destitute,
For it is in His cross that we're to boast.
When carrying your cross, His attributes
Transform you, bringing you to love Him most.
His name, The Lord Our Righteousness, says all,
As such, He will not suffer you to fall.
