A Little Place

There's a little place,
Inside my mind,

Where only joy and peace I find.
And in that spot,
That's tucked away,
Are thoughts of how I used to pray.
When I go there,
I can recall,
When I first understood the fall.
A local church,
A comfy pew,
My heart was wrecked because of you.
Now that's locked up-
A well-kept fence- only then did it make sense.
Unlock the gate,
And stumble in,
To wrestle with my bent towards sin.
I fight to see,
I'm glad to find,
His love for me remains behind.

In that little place,
inside my mind.
