Lord, I'm still waiting for the rest
You promised those who've yoked with You
Sins all confessed, and yet the test
To prove your Word is still not through
Old bitter tears pace down this face
Lord I'm still waiting for the rest
Though I'm ashamed, sufficient grace,
Covers the life we both detest
To give my all, to give my best,
Is all You've ever asked of me
Lord, I'm still waiting for the Rest,
The untold half I cannot see
But until then, we'll meet by choice
To doubt you now, I'd be hard-pressed
Patiently longing for your voice,
Lord, I'm still, waiting for the rest
